Private Training
We also offer a do-it-yourself course where we instruct you how to train your dog either at your home or at our facility. We call these ‘lessons’ and sell them in packages depending on your requirements and desired outcome with your pup. We will teach you to master dog training with your own pet.
Commands, Terms and Expected Behaviors Glossary
- Sit: Dog will sit on-command (stay is always implied until you release them).
- Heel: A positional command – the dog is on your left side and matches your pace when walking.
- Here: Come directly into master and touch your hand.
- Place: Go to your bed and stay or go to any designated ‘place’ object.
- Down: Dog must lie down (stay is implied)
- Wait: Dog must wait and never bolt out of the door – dog ‘waits’ until released
- Load up: dog will jump into car
- Kennel: dog will enter kennel freely
- Leave it: Dog will not touch object
- Drop: Dog will release object
- Free: Dog can run and play or break from sit/down – release command.
- Settle down: Time to be calm and signals the end of playtime
- Quiet: No more noise such as after barking at the door.

House Manners
Dog will be able to spend time with the family in a calm manner whilst in the house

Greeting Manners
Dog will greet friends or strangers without jumping or acting silly

Walk Manners
Dog will walk past other dogs, humans and animals on the leash walk without pulling, trying to play or being reactive to others.

Children Manners
Dog will be expected to ‘play nicely’ with children and not try to dominate or play rough.
